Product Review and Giveaway: H2O Plus

We recently had the awesome opportunity of attending the WDW Marathon Meetup.  At the end of this fabulous morning of fun with past Olympians and celebrities, we were given a goodybag by runDisney that included some products from H2O Plus.  The Targeted Care Softening Mint Foot Rub and the Face Oasis, a hydration mist were two items we received that were perfect for runners getting ready for their weekend of races.

As a Goofy Challenge participate, my feet were going to get a massive workout.  I knew immediately that both these products would be used while I recovered from my races.  After the Donald Half, I immediately took an ice bath and then soothed my tired feet by giving them a massage with my new foot cream.  I love the smooth texture and nice aroma, it felt great on my tired tootsies!  I walked around the hotel property with flip flops, so this did the trick to make me comfortable. The face mist was very refreshing and I actually spritzed my face while I soaked in the tub (sorry for the weird visual!).  The following day after the marathon, I followed the same ritual of ice bath followed by a warm shower and a foot massage with my new favorite foot cream!  Afterwards, I walked Epcot for at least 4-5 hours while we showed off our race medals and enjoyed the rides and food.  Thanks H2O Plus for the amazing gifts.

If you've visited a Disney resort or spent time on a Disney cruise, you may have seen H2O Plus products before.  They are the provider for all of the spa and bath amenities at Disney resorts and on the Disney cruise.  One of the things we love about this brand is that they're committed to helping restore and preserve the world's oceans, with many of their ingredients being things you find in the sea.  Their website even has a list of all ingredients found in their products - pretty cool.

Now we have a special treat for two lucky readers.  Using the rafflecopter below, we will choose two winners to receive both of the products we received at the meetup. (Sorry, the stuffed Goofy is not part of the prize!)  Good luck!  a Rafflecopter giveaway

  1. I haven't done an ice bath yet. I'm trying to work up the courage-haha. I really should start at least with my feet though.

  2. After long race, I ice down my knees and ankles immediately whenever able. I didn't do it after my first half marathon, and I quickly learned my mistake! I'm also a big fan of the post-race nap, although I try to stay active the rest of the day once I wake up to avoid tensing up my calf muscles.

  4. I never thought of an ice bath. I have a hard enough time putting a bag of ice on my achilles after a run. LOL. I love H20 plus products. I ordered the shampoo for my hubby for Christmas since he missed the shampoo from the cruise.

  7. I love the H20 products!! After Disney races, we head through Epcot to the Boardwalk for a shower and change of clothes. After we change and put on compression sleeves, we head back out to Epcot for more walking and FOOD! It has always worked well for us! Can't wait for the Princess 1/2!

  11. Post run I usually spend some quality time with my foam roller, do some stretching and take a warm shower! (Unless it's a REALLY long run then I throw in an ice bath!)

  12. I'm not a fan of ice baths because I'm a wuss, but I did ice my joints after the half for Goofy and did a ton of rolling with the stick and that was the best I ever felt after a half. The next morning at the start of the full, I didn't even feel like I had run a half the day before. (Although, by mile 10 my body was acutely aware of my running the half, lol!)

  13. I agree... I'm kinda a wuss for the ice bath. I did notice at my hotel the ice machines were out of ice after the half marathon! LOL That foot lotion sounds really nice :)
