Weekly Roundup - Feb 10

This was a pretty good workout week.  Christine started seeing some great improvements in her pace, which are a fabulous confidence boost as she's training hard for another half marathon PR attempt at the Shamrock Half Marathon.  Pam met some new friends on an African Safari...she figured racing with them would be a bad idea!

Sunday, Feb 3rd
Christine: 35 minutes yoga
Pam: Swim 30 minutes

Monday, Feb 4th
Christine: 5 miles on treadmill (48 min); 1/2 mile cool down (10 min); stretching
Pam: Rest

Tuesday, Feb 5th
Christine: 35 minutes on stationary bike, Abs
Pam: Stretching, leg work

Wednesday, Feb 6th
Christine: Rest (not feeling 100%)
Pam: Stretching

Thursday, Feb 7th
Christine: 3 mi easy treadmill run
Pam: Swim 20 minutes, leg work and stretching

Friday, Feb 8th
Christine: 20 min walk with dog
Pam:  Swim 30 minutes

Saturday, Feb 9th
Christine: 8.7 miles in Virginia is for Lovers 14k (1:21.09)
Pam: Rest

  1. Christine....hope your feeling better....Good work outs though... I had that happen to me this week on Tuesday and Wednesday...but then by Thursday I had tons of gas in the tank from somewhere! If only I'd have that feeling more! lol
    Pam...not sure if your still out playing with the gorillas and Big Cats! I can't get over your recent Goofy...and African hikes...and soon to run Princess with Christine and your sister! Inspiration overload for me.....thanks!
    Christine...great job on your 14k!! We have had decent weather here in VA so Yay for that! :c) Bet they had cute race shirts that said Virginia is for lovers.
    I need to find a non-competitive 10 k to get a qualifying time for Disney...
