Weekly Roundup - November 3rd

This was a big week for us!  Christine ran her first marathon last Sunday and I started back to training for Dopey Challenge with five days of running this week. For most runners, that is no big deal, but it is alot for me.  My legs were very heavy today and while I completed the run as planned, I had an unproductive day post run!

One last peak at the marathon finisher!
Here is a look at what we did this week:
Sunday, Oct. 27th
Pam:  Ran 5.15 miles average pace 9:34
Christine: Ran a MARATHON!

Monday, October 28th
Pam: 15 min. eliptical, 15 min. stationary bike, 1000 meters rowing, weights
Christine: Rest day, foam rolling and stretching

Tuesday, October 29th
Pam: 4.25 miles with running group varied workout with some speedwork at 8:45 pace
Christine: Rest day

Wednesday, October 30th
Pam: Rest day
Christine: 30 min stationary bike, Abs

Thursday, October 31st
Pam: Without Limits workout...4 X 1000 at 8:30 pace, total of 3.5 miles
Christine: Rest day

Friday, November 1st:
Pam: 2.5 miles at 9:40 pace
Christine: Rest day

Saturday, November 2nd:
Pam: 8 mile long run miles 3-5 at 9:47 (marathon pace)
Christine: 2 mile easy run, 20 min elliptical, abs

We are now looking forward to our trip to Disney World later this week.  Arriving on Thursday, we have lots of fun things planned besides running two races on Saturday!  Will you be in Orlando for the Wine and Dine Half marathon and or Jingle Jungle 5k?

  1. We'll be heading down Thursday after work for a busy weekend! Starting with the runDisney meetup on Thursday night, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Friday night and of course the Wine & Dine Half on Saturday night! First weekend away from the kids since my youngest was born!

  4. So many exciting things going on! What fun! I train for ultras and I still say 5 days of running is a lot. The most I've done is 4 and that was tough with b2b long runs. You're a beast!
