Weekly Roundup- December 8th

This week started off slow for me, exercise wise, but built up into a long, hard 18 mile run yesterday.  With the holidays in full swing, parties with too much food and alcohol are making workouts more of a challenge. Christine encouraged me during my run yesterday by text, and even offered to sing to me!  A cut back mileage week is on the calendar and I am looking forward to the break, especially since it is my birthday week!

mile 3 view, the dreaded ice bath and Lulu leaning against my leg having a nap!
My big volunteer obligation of the year is now in the rear view mirror following a dinner for 70 on Thursday night.  It was a success and the grandparent's raising grandchildren were happy with their special evening. The Assistance League of Greater Wilmington has a wonderful group of ladies who made gifts, cookies and helped cook and serve the dinner.

And now for our workouts...
