Weekly Roundup - March 9th

After our last long runs last weekend, we have arrived in taper town for our races next weekend!  Taper town is one of my favorite places to be even though I know some people really hate it.  This weekend also ushered in some fantastic spring-like weather with sun and warmth.  It does wonders for my mood!    The other thing that does wonders for my mood is having a place to hang my Dopey Challenge medals!    Yesterday, I received my new bib and medal hanger and I promptly hung it up with all my Dopey paraphernalia.
Celebrating all 48.6 miles!
I couldn't be happier with how it came out.  If you're interested, I purchased this on etsy from York Sign Shop.  Their service was top notch and I love that this hanger is real wood and it's beautifully made.  And now for our workouts...

  1. I am actually a fan of taper town as well. The only thing that makes it tough for me is finding a balance between calories and the less amount of exercise that is done so I don't gain weight.

Great week of workouts for you both - love the medal hangar!!

  5. I love tapering, too. Although, I seem to do more tapering than training, so there's that. ;)
