New Rock 'n' Roll Tour Stop in Mexico City

Last week, the Rock 'n' Roll race series announced a new half marathon event in Mexico City!  Ole!  The race will take place March 15, 2015, which makes it the perfect time for a Spring Break trip down south.  And Travel and Leisure magazine just named Mexico City one of its ten best cities for 2014.  So what are you waiting for??

It's probably no secret that we love the idea of international races and this got me thinking about some of the other Rock 'n' Roll races.  They've done some really cool things with challenges and incentives for extra medals by completing multiple races.  The recent announcement of the Beach to Bell race challenge which is completion of both the Virginia Beach and Philly races, plus others have generated a lot of excitement.

I started daydreaming about events that run along the Mediterranean coast in Nice and Lisbon.  Visiting new cities like Savannah and Nashville.  Meeting up with friends in cities like Chicago and San Antonio.  Maybe someday I'll buy the tour pass but until then, I'll be daydreaming about all of these awesome race locations.

Which Rock 'n' Roll tour stop would you love to hit?

  3. There are so many awesome tour stops, and just like with runDisney races, I wish I had all the time and money in the world to plan racecations to so many of these great cities! My bucket list includes Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas. I've never been, and the idea of running on the strip sounds simply amazing!

    1. Vegas was way more fun than I anticipated and that was before my running days. And yes, there are so many that it makes it hard to pick and choose!

  4. I'd love to run any of them honestly! Vegas and New Orleans are among the top contenders since they are easier to get to. Going to the Mediterranean would be a dream though!
