It's Wine and Dine time!

Lots of our running friends are headed to Florida sometime this week to participate in the Wine and Dine race weekend.  Are we jealous?  You bet!  But with fall marathons and a trip to Florida for the Tower of Terror race last month, we did not register for this race. However, we are really excited to be following along via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram throughout the weekend.

In 2012 and 2013, we ran this spectacular night race and have loads of tips for those of you who are going this year for the first time.

I thought it would be helpful to link back to our prior posts on basics for the race weekend.  A night race is different and Christine wrote a "Wine and Dine, What to Expect" post last year that is filled with helpful information.  Click here for the full recap.

Our Wine and Dine race last year was run as a training run due to the increased mileage we were doing in anticipation of Dopey Challenge.  Our recap shares highlights of the race.

One of the things we learned most from our three night races was to rest during the day so you could enjoy the race that night.  Our best night race experience was Tower of Terror this year, and I think that is because through trial and error we figured out how to hydrate and eat properly to feel good starting a race at ten o'clock at night.

If you need more information for the race weekend, please check out the following posts, some by us and some by our friends:

Let us know what questions you have about the race weekend and we will do our best to get you an answer.  Please post lots of photos and tweets so we can virtually share in this fun filled race weekend.
