Weekly Roundup - November 2nd

It's hard to believe that last weekend we were in Washington DC for Mom to run the Marine Corps Marathon and today has been filled with lots of cheering for friends (and elites) running the New York City Marathon.  It's definitely a perk of running a later marathon - lots of great inspiration from others running fall marathons!  This week was an exciting one as I got my bib number for Richmond Marathon.  I cannot believe it's less than 2 weeks away!

There weren't any crazy Halloween festivities here - just passed out candy and made a yummy dinner.  Oh and there were some yummy fall cocktails - an apple cider martini and an apple pumpkintini.  Yum yum!
Vampire Mickey loves Srirach corn dip!

Did you do anything fun for Halloween?

  1. Oh I love that vampire Mickey! So cute! Sounds like you both had great weeks!

    1. He is my favorite! I'm kind of sad Halloween is over since I have to pack him up with my decorations.

  2. You Halloween sounds exactly like my kind of day. Yummy drinks, food, and handing out treats, way better than crazy parties.

    1. I abandoned wild Halloween parties and costumes years ago. I'm kind of lame!

  3. Replies
    1. It was pretty good but I would tweak the recipe a bit. Too much "creamy" and not enough veggies...if that makes any sense!

  4. Christine, could you post the corn dip recipe - maybe with your suggested tweaks?
It sound like a good one for football Sundays!
