Weekly Roundup: April 5th - day late!

We hope you had a wonderful Easter (or Passover) celebration this weekend! Adam and I spent the weekend in North Carolina and we had a great time. Between celebrating our engagement with a fabulous dinner on Saturday night and then a beautiful Easter brunch after church on Sunday, it's safe to say our bellies are full for a while!

I loved getting to run with Mom on Saturday because a few more weeks have passed than I would like since I last ran long. We chatted the whole time and I barely even used my music. I forgot how wonderful it is to have a buddy for the long runs and it motivated me to consider a group once again.  My legs and hips have definitely felt tired post-run which is a good reminder that I need to focus on longer runs in preparation for the upcoming Pixie Dust Challenge in a few weeks.
We didn't plan to coordinate with the blooming
Cherry Trees but it worked out nicely!
I have a few goals for the week including cleaning up my diet, focusing on strength training, and hitting back-to-back runs this weekend. Here are our workouts for the week!
